Fort Worth motorcyclist killed after his vehicle collides with wall, police say
A Fort Worth motorcyclist died early Saturday from injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Southwest Loop 820, Fort Worth police said.
No other injuries were reported.
The man who died has been identified as Emilio J. Garcia, 29, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office website on Monday. He was pronounced dead at 12:22 a.m. Saturday at a local hospital.
He died from blunt-force injuries and his death has been ruled an accident, according to officials with the medical examiner’s office.
The wreck occurred about 9 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Southwest Loop 820.
Fort Worth police said the driver lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a retaining wall.
