Man wounded near Fort Worth smoke shop after former employee opens fire, police say

A man was wounded near a smoke shop Tuesday night when a former employee opened fire, Fort Worth police said.

The suspect fired multiple times, but the victim suffered only a graze wound to his back.

Fort Worth police have identified the suspect, but authorities did not comment on whether the gunman was in custody.

The shooting was reported just after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the EC Smokies Shop, 500 S. Riverside Drive.

The victim was injured during a dispute with the former employee, Fort Worth police said.

Detectives are investigating the shooting.
