This could be the truck used in murder of Fort Worth man in wheelchair, police say
Detectives released photographs of a truck that may have been used by a suspect accused of fatally shooting a man in a wheelchair on Monday night, police said Friday.
The photos came from video surveillance in the area of Camp Bowie West Boulevard and Broadmoor Drive.
Steven Evans, 52, of Fort Worth, died about 2 a.m. Tuesday at a hospital, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Evans died from multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, according to officials at the medical examiner’s office..
Fort Worth police responded to a shooting call at 11:58 p.m. Monday in the area of Camp Bowie West Boulevard and Broadmoore Drive.
Police did not release any other details on the shooting.
The truck is a white Ford-150 extended cab pickup truck with damage to its driver’s side and rust on the top portion of the cab.
