Death of woman found at Fort Worth business ruled suicide after investigation

UPDATE: The medical examiner’s office ruled the death a suicide Friday afternoon. Police previously said they were investigating pending the results of an autopsy.

A young woman was found dead Thursday night at a business in southeast Fort Worth, police said.

Homicide detectives were investigating while awaiting a ruling from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office on how she died.

The medical examiner’s office has now ruled the death a suicide, according to records on the office’s website Friday afternoon.

The woman was found at a business in the 5000 block of David Strickland Road.
