61-year-old woman struck, killed by hit-and-run driver in Fort Worth
A hit-and-run driver killed a pedestrian early Sunday on a Fort Worth street, according to news reports.
The search for the motorist continued on Monday.
The victim was identified as Patricia Blue Gilbert, 61, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website Monday.
Gilbert was struck shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2600 block of Walton Avenue, according to KXAS-TV. A sedan left the scene.
She later died at John Peter Smith Hospital.
Fort Worth police did not release any other details.
