Driver killed after vehicle crashes into pole in Fort Worth
A motorist was killed Wednesday night after his vehicle struck a pole along South Riverside Drive, Fort Worth police said.
The name of the victim had not been released as of Thursday morning.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The accident was reported shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 3500 block of S. Riverside Drive.
A car reportedly left the roadway and hit the pole, police said.
The driver was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the motorist to lose control of his vehicle.
