Two workers burned in electrical accident in downtown Fort Worth, firefighters say
Fort Worth Fire Department firefighters responded to “an electrocution call” at 100 Throckmorton St. about 1:40 p.m. Saturday.
Two men working in an electrical room in a downtown building sustained flash burns to their faces and arms from an electrical shock, the fire department said in a statement. The men were reportedly working on an electrical panel in the basement of a garage when the panel arced.
Both men were transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas via Careflite helicopter following the accident. No further details or update on their condition was available.
A landing zone was set up in the intersection of Throckmorton and Weatherford streets for the helicopters to land.
