Cleburne man dies after his vehicle hits parked semi truck on Fort Worth street

A Cleburne man was killed early Saturday in Fort Worth when his vehicle clipped a parked tractor-trailer and rolled over several times, Fort Worth police said Monday.

The driver and a passenger were thrown out of the vehicle.

The victim died shortly after the accident at a Fort Worth hospital. He was later identified as Marcos Manuel Best, 25, who died at 2:59 a.m. Saturday, according to officials with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Best died from blunt-force injuries and his death was ruled an accident.

His passenger, a woman, suffered critical injuries in the crash. Her condition was not available on Monday.

The wreck was reported shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of Brennan Ave.

Fort Worth traffic investigators determined Best was driving on Brennan Avenue when his vehicle hit the parked semi-truck.
