Masked gunman robs Stockyards bar, then runs away from scene, police say
An armed and masked suspect robbed a Stockyards bar early Wednesday and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
No injuries were reported in the holdup.
Patrol officers responded to the robbery call shortly after 1:30 a.m. at the Stockyards Tavern, 2503 Refugio Ave.
Witnesses told police a man armed with a gun walked into the bar.
The suspect demanded cash from an employee and fled the scene after the holdup, police said.
Police did not provide any other details on the case.
