Man stabbed in face while trying to intervene on woman’s behalf in fight in Fort Worth

A man was stabbed in the face by a woman’s husband when he tried to intervene on her behalf during a fight in Fort Worth on Friday, police say.

At 4:43 p.m., police responded to a stabbing call at 600 The Heights Drive. A man and woman were fighting when a male friend stepped in on the woman’s behalf, police said.

The husband stabbed the man in the face.

Police said the man might lose an eye due to being stabbed, but his injuries are not life-threatening. He was taken to the hospital.

The husband fled and had not been arrested by police as of Friday night, police said.
