Police arrest juvenile who allegedly fired into a crowd, shooting a 15-year-old girl
An arrest has been made in a shooting that began with an argument Thursday evening in east Fort Worth, police said.
An unnamed juvenile suspect faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Because the suspect is under the age of 18, police cannot release further information about him.
The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday night in the 5000 block of Cottey Street, police said.
A large group of men were arguing with another group when the suspect allegedly drew a gun and fired into the crowd, police said.
The shot grazed the girl’s head. Police said the injury was minor and that she was breathing and awake when she was transported to a local hospital.
