A 15-year-old girl was injured during a shooting in east Fort Worth on Thursday night, police said.

A large group of men were arguing with another family in the 5000 block of Cottey Street at about 6:30 p.m., police said. One of the men pulled a gun out and shot into the crowd.

The bullet grazed a 15-year-old girl on the head, police said.

The injury was minor and the girl was awake and breathing, police said. She was taken away from the scene in an ambulance.

The suspect had not been arrested Thursday night, but police said they had identifying information on him. Family violence detectives were notified.
