A search continued Sunday for a gunman who opened fire on another man during an argument over a vehicle, Fort Worth police said.
A search continued Sunday for a gunman who opened fire on another man during an argument over a vehicle, Fort Worth police said.

A man was shot and wounded late Saturday during an argument over a possible stolen vehicle, police said.

The man was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Police responded to the shooting call shortly after 11:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of Dorman Street.

Initially, officers believed the shooting had occurred at Dorman Street and Mansfield Highway in Forest Hill.

But police later determined the man was wounded on Dorman Street.

Investigators believe an argument erupted over a possible stolen vehicle at the address when one person pulled out a handgun and fired at the victim.

A search continued Sunday for the suspect.
