Police investigating a triple shooting they said may be related
Police were investigating two shooting calls in east Fort Worth on Saturday that they said may have been related.
Three victims were listed in serious condition at local hospitals and one was in surgery shortly after being shot, according to officers.
The first shooting call came in about 7:10 p.m. in the 3400 block of Hatcher Street. The second shooting call came in about five minutes later from the 6300 block of Meadowbrook Drive, less than five miles southwest of the first call, according to police.
A man believed to be between 50 and 55 years old was shot in the back and a woman about the same age was shot in the leg, police said.
Another man who was shot multiple times is believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, police said.
Police detained one witness but have no suspects in custody.
