Police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred when a man was struck by a vehicle as he attempted to walk across Interstate 30 in Fort Worth on Saturday.

The man was struck about 7:05 p.m. and was pronounced dead by medical personnel on the scene, according to police. The driver of the vehicle that struck him stopped and called for police and medical help, police said.

The man was walking on the eastbound side of Interstate 30 near Summit Avenue when he was struck, police said. The man's identity has not been released.
