Authorities investigating whether human remains were found in back yard

Construction workers found what are believed to be human skeletal remains at a vacant residence, according to the Forest Hill police.

The workers discovered the skeletal remains shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday in the back yard of a residence in the 6400 block of Evonshire Drive and called police, a news release from the Forest Hill Police Department said.

Detectives with the Forest HIll Police Department and investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Tarrant County medical examiner's office are working to determine what was found, the release said.
