Gun-wielding suspect climbed through window in Fort Worth gas station robbery
Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Valero gas station in Fort Worth last month, climbing through a glass security window and wielding a revolver.
The robbery happened about 2:30 a.m. Oct. 28 in the 800 block of East Allen Avenue, off Interstate 35W, according to a police news release Tuesday.
The masked suspect walked inside, climbed through the security window separating the employee and the front counter and then pointed a silver revolver at the employee, according to surveillance pictures released by police.
The suspect demanded cash from the register and tried to open a safe and take lottery tickets, police said. After fighting with the employee, the suspect fled in a light-color four-door sedan.
Police said the suspect is about 26 years old. He was wearing bluejeans and a black ski mask. Two people inside the store were potential witnesses to the incident.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 817-392-4365.
