Suspects fire shot at Subway worker during Fort Worth robbery, police say

Police are searching for three men accused of robbing a Subway in southeast Fort Worth and firing a shot at an employee during the incident.

The shot missed the employee and no one was injured, according to a police news release.

The alleged robbery happened about 5:30 p.m. Monday at a Subway near East Loop 820 and East Berry Street.

Two men in their late teens or early 20s are accused of stealing cash from the employee at gunpoint and then fleeing to a gray, four-door sedan, police said. When the employee saw the suspects get in the car, the suspects fired a shot, “narrowly missing the employee,” according to the news release.

Just before the robbery, a third man had entered the Subway, used the restroom and then went back outside and got into the suspects’ car, according to surveillance video.

The suspects’ car was believed to be either a Nissan Altima or Maxima, the news release said.
