A 46-year-old man found dead in an east Fort Worth home after a shooting committed suicide, the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office ruled.

Terry Martin was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound to the head at 6:39 a.m. Saturday, according to the medical examiner.

A woman was found with gunshot wounds at about 6:30 a.m. at the same house in the 7400 block of Beaty Street, Cpl. Tracey Knight, a police spokeswoman, previously has said.

The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died. The medical examiner had not identified her by Sunday.

Police said the two lived in the house, but did not have more information Sunday.
