Two Arlington high schoolers were arrested Monday on charges of terroristic threats to Sam Houston High School. The students had posted photos of themselves with toy guns tucked into their waistbands, according to the Arlington Police Department.

On Monday morning, Sam Houston High School was made aware of the post suggesting there might be someone on campus with a weapon. The campus was placed on lockdown about 11:35 a.m.

By about 2 p.m., the lockdown was lifted once investigators determined there was no ongoing threat to the school, police said.

The two juvenile suspects were transported to the Tarrant County Juvenile Detention Center.

The police department posted on social media saying there was no shooting nor any injuries.
