Three people, including two children, were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Dallas on Wednesday morning, police said.

Dallas police officers responded to the accident about 8 a.m. on Aug. 13 at the intersection of East Clarendon Drive and North Street, near the Dallas Zoo, police said.

Two adults and four children involved in the crash were taken to local hospitals by Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulances, police said.

One of the adults and two of the children who were in critical condition later died at the hospital, police said.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the people who died after their next of kin have been notified.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
