Two people drowned in separate incidents on Sunday in Lake Lewisville, according to authorities.

A 23-year-old woman fell off a boat near Sunset Point in Highland Village just before 3 p.m. Sunday, and a 25-year-old man drowned at about 7:45 p.m. at Lake Park near the swim beach, WFAA reported.

Crews from the fire department, Texas Game Wardens and Army Corps of Engineers found the woman’s body just after 7 p.m. Sunday. The fire department and Texas Game Wardens searched for the man Sunday night, but were not able to find him until they resumed their search Monday morning.

The man’s body was recovered at about 8 a.m., according to WFAA.
