Garland police looking for suspect in shooting death outside pizza restaurant
Police responding to a shooting call Saturday afternoon found a man on the ground in the parking lot of a pizza restaurant suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas where he was pronounced dead, police said in a news release.
Police are investigating the the death as a murder. Witnesses told officers they saw the man who shot the victim drive away in a blue truck, according to the release.
Police responded to the shooting call shortly before 4 p.m. at a Cici's Pizza in the 1000 block of Northwest Highway, the release said. Detectives are investigating and trying to determine what led to the shooting, the release said.
