Family mourns 27-year-old Fort Worth man killed in crash earlier this month
A 27-year-old Fort Worth man killed in a crash earlier this month is remembered by family as a “joyful person with a kind and sincere heart.”
The man identified as Oscar Isidro died from blunt force injuries, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s website.
Fort Worth police officers responded to the crash at 3:30 a.m. on June 14 at the intersection of North South Freeway and East Freeway, police said in a statement.
Officers located a single vehicle wedged under the Spur 280 bridge. Isidro was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
An online obituary described Isidro as someone who brightened every moment he shared and his personality left a lasting impression on everyone around him.
“He was a loving son, a loyal brother, a caring partner, and a devoted friend, always ready to offer a smile, a word of encouragement, or an act of kindness,” the obituary read. “His memory will live forever in every heart he touched with his love, joy, and authenticity.”
Police said the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
