A 23-year-old Fort Worth man was arrested Tuesday after entering his ex-girlfriend's home and discharging a gun, police said.

Cornelius Houston will face charges of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit other felony and unlawful restraint, according to Fort Worth jail records.

Fort Worth police officers responded to a domestic disturbance call about 1:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Beth Road, police said in a statement.

Police said Houston entered his ex-girlfriend’s home and drew a gun. There was a struggle and the firearm discharged. The woman called police as Houston left the residence.

Houston returned while officers were on the scene and was taken into custody, police said.
