Fort Worth police are responding to a shooting near Historic Stop Six Park, also known as Rosedale Plaza Park, where a community event was being held Saturday night.

A 911 caller reported the shooting shortly after 9 p.m. near 5200 E. Rosedale St. and said that their friend was shot.

Officers at the scene appear to be investigating at the Apex Apartments complex next to the park.

More than 20 police units have been dispatched to the area, according to a call log.

A police spokesperson will provide more information to reporters near the scene tonight, police said in a social media post.
