A woman who the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said had fled after cutting off her court-ordered ankle monitor has been re-arrested, officials said Wednesday.

Lisa Mitchell, 35, was taken into custody without incident after a “focused investigation supported by tips from the public,” officials said.

Mitchell was originally arrested in September and charged with murder in the fentanyl overdose death of Dustin Mowdy, according to court documents. Mitchell is accused of supplying the fentanyl that killed Mowdy. She was released on bond in November.

Mitchell is being held in the Tarrant County Jail.
