Report of barricaded person in west Fort Worth prompts large police, SWAT response

Multiple police units, including SWAT, responded to reports of a barricaded person Thursday morning in west Fort Worth.

About 20 police units were dispatched to the 5500 block of Curzon Avenue starting about 10:45 a.m. after someone reported that a man was dragging a woman up and down the street by her legs, according to the 911 call sheet.

One SWAT unit responded to the scene about 11:30 a.m. A Fort Worth Police Department spokesperson said they believed there was a barricaded person at the address, but the suspect was later found and taken into custody at another location.

No other details were immediately available.
