A 19-year-old man was killed and another person was injured in a shooting outside a warehouse near Fort Worth Meacham International Airport early Sunday, police said.

Officers responded about 3:40 a.m. to the shooting in a parking lot at 1211 Northwest 35th St., police said in a news release.

When officers arrived, they found one shooting victim who was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the chest. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man who died as Lyndon Clay.

Police initially said that two other people injured in the shooting were found at local hospitals, but in an update Sunday afternoon they clarified that only one victim arrived at the hospital. That person’s condition was unknown.

Investigators determined a large group of people were gathered outside in the parking lot when a fight broke out during which shots were fired, police said.

No arrests have been announced in the case. Police said homicide detectives are investigating further details about what led to the shooting.

It was one of three shootings reported in the city on Sunday morning. Police also are trying to identify suspects in the other cases.

Three people were hospitalized after a shooting near a bar in east Fort Worth. Officers responded about 2 a.m. to the shooting near The Men’s Club in the 4900 block of Mansfield Highway, police said in a statement.

In the third morning shooting, a Fort Worth convenience store employee was shot and critically injured during a robbery, police said. Officers responded to that shooting about 8 a.m. at Stop N Save convenience store at 5053 N. Hampshire Blvd.

Two more people were injured in a shooting Sunday night near Carter Park in south Fort Worth, police said
