3 injured in overnight shooting at west Fort Worth lounge, police say

Three people were injured in a shooting at a west Fort Worth hookah lounge and bar early Friday, police said.

Officers responded to the Valero gas station in the 6000 block of S. Hulen St. about 2 a.m. after a 911 caller reported their friend had been shot, according to the call sheet. Police said the shooting occurred at the nearby CRU Lounge, located at 6318 Hulen Bend Blvd.

Two people suffered gunshot wounds and a third was grazed, police said. The two people who were shot were taken to a hospital for treatment and are expected to survive.

No arrests have been announced. Detectives from the Gang Unit and the Gun Violence Unit are investigating the shooting.
