1 victim injured in Fort Worth Diamond Hill shooting; gang officers investigate
Gang unit officers are investigating a shooting that seriously injured one person in a residential area of north Fort Worth’s Diamond Hill neighborhood on Monday night.
Police were called about 10:30 p.m. to a house in the 3600 block of North Nichols Street.
When officers arrived, they found a victim with gunshot wounds to the abdomen, a police spokesperson said. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
No suspects have been arrested, the spokesperson said.
Police will continue to investigate what led to the shooting.
