WATCH: Fort Worth police look for brazen porch pirate caught on camera
Fort Worth police are asking for help identifying a man who stole an Amazon package from a resident’s front porch moments after it was delivered.
The porch pirate was caught on surveillance video waiting in a white SUV while an Amazon driver delivered a box to a residence in northwest Fort Worth.
Just as the Amazon driver walks away, the thief is seen hurrying across the victim’s lawn wearing a white CeeDee Lamb Dallas Cowboys jersey with the number 88, a dark baseball cap and gray sweatpants. He grabs the package and rushes back to his vehicle.
The man’s face is visible in surveillance footage. Police are asking anyone with information to call 817-392-4620.
