Bedford police have arrested a 25-year-old man they say robbed a bank Friday afternoon.

The suspect entered the Bank of America at 1904 Central Drive about 1:30 p.m. and gave the teller a note demanding money, Bedford police said in a news release. The note also indicated the man had a weapon.

The teller gave the suspect money, and he left the scene on a bicycle, according to the release. Police and FBI identified him as a man from Waco who’s recently been staying in Euless. He was arrested a short time after the robbery.

Authorities will publicly identify the 25-year-old suspect after his arraignment, police said.
