A suspect who injured a victim by cutting their abdomen during a fight in south Fort Worth on Tuesday morning, was arrested, police said.

A suspect who injured a victim by cutting their abdomen during a fight in Fort Worth on Tuesday morning was arrested, police said.

Officers responded about 8 a.m. to a call about a cutting near the intersection of Ash Crescent Street and East Richmond Avenue, off Riverside Drive in south Fort Worth, where they found the victim.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.

Investigators determined that the injuries resulted from a fight between the two individuals. The suspect, who has not been identified, is in custody, police said.

In a separate incident, a man was stabbed multiple times in the torso and killed about 11:45 p.m. on Monday during a fight at a 7-Eleven in the 8500 block of Camp Bowie West Boulevard, police said.
