Fort Worth police investigate shooting that critically injured a 19-year-old

Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting that critically injured a 19-year-old on Tuesday evening.

Officers were called to the 1200 block of Woodland Avenue around 6:50 p.m. They found a man who had been shot in the abdomen, police said. The officers rendered aid to the injured man, and he was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

No suspects have been arrested, according to police. Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit are investigating the shooting.
