Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting that injured a 36-year-old man early Tuesday, officials said.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Ernest Street shortly before 1:30 a.m. They found a man with a gunshot wound, according to police. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

No suspects have been arrested, according to police. Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
