Bedford police arrested two people suspected of committing break-ins in the Mill Ridge and Sweet Wood Drive area in the early hours of Wednesday, June 25, police said in a statement.

Police reviewed security video from several neighbors, and officers saw a man breaking into multiple cars.

The man left the area in a white four-door Pontiac. Police used FLOCK cameras, which provide real-time crime center data by scanning license plates, to track the man to a hotel in Fort Worth.

Detectives searched a hotel room and found a gun, 45 grams of methamphetamine, 2 grams of fentanyl, 1 gram of heroin, stolen debit cards, Social Security cards, IDs, a MacBook, an iPad, iPods and cash.

They also found stolen items from two of the Bedford car burglaries.

A man and woman from Fort Worth were arrested and face charges of manufacturing and delivering drugs, illegal gun possession by a felon and breaking into vehicles with a previous conviction, police said.
