Grapevine police have arrested a man accused of stabbing his 19-year-old brother, who was found bleeding inside a convenience store, according to a news release.

On Monday night, May 5, officers were dispatched to the Gulf Convenience Store, in the 2700 block of Mustang Drive, at about 9:45 p.m.

A clerk told officers that a man ran into the store bleeding and collapsed on the floor, police said.

After talking with witnesses, detectives determined that the victim was stabbed at a nearby apartment, police said.

The victim’s brother, 24-year-old Angel Martinez, was later identified as the suspect, police said.

Martinez is facing a charge of aggravated assault of a family member with a deadly weapon. He is being held in the Grapevine Detention Center while awaiting transport to the Tarrant County Jail, police said. His bond has not been set.
