Fort Worth man who kidnapped 8-year-old from Walmart toy aisle sentenced to life

A Tarrant County jury sentenced a man to four consecutive life terms in a Texas prison for the kidnapping and sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl, District Attorney Phil Sorrells said.

William Nevilles Jr., 49, kidnapped the girl from the toy aisle at a Fort Worth Walmart store in December 2023, authorities said.

Nevilles took the child to three separate locations and sexually assaulted her, the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office said in a statement on Friday, May 2.

Jurors found Nevilles guilty on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, aggravated kidnapping and indecency with a child.
