A southwest Fort Worth massage parlor has been shut down due to suspected illegal activity, police said in a Friday, May 2, news release.

Fort Worth police and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation worked together to close Rejuvenation Spa, located in the 6100 block of Bryant Irvin Road. Investigators found several violations, including employees working without the proper license, evidence that illegal services were being offered to customers and online advertisement of illicit services, the release states.

This is the fourth Fort Worth massage parlor that has been shuttered by police and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation this year. A recent change in Texas law allows the state department to close down businesses believed to be involved in illegal activities like illicit sexual services and human trafficking.

The investigation into Rejuvenation Spa is ongoing. TDLR has provided assistance and resources for victims, police said in the release.
