2 men injured in unrelated stabbings Tuesday, Fort Worth police say
Two men were injured in unrelated stabbings early Tuesday, April 29, Fort Worth police said. A suspect has been arrested in one of the cases.
Officers responded to the Delux Inn at 4451 South Freeway about 4:45 a.m. A witness told them that two men had gotten into a fight and one of them stabbed the other several times, police said.
The stabbing occurred at the corner of East Seminary Drive and South Freeway, according to the 911 call sheet. The caller reported the victim was stabbed in his back and side. The injured man ran to the nearby Delux Inn for help.
The suspect was arrested. The injured man was taken to a hospital by a friend and is in stable condition, police said.
In the other case, officers responded to the 700 block of Darlington Trail in north Fort Worth shortly after 2:30 a.m. Someone said he’d been stabbed in the hand, according to the 911 call sheet.
The man’s injuries were minor, according to MedStar.
