2 people critically injured in north Fort Worth shooting, police say

A 19-year-old and a 29-year-old were critically injured in a shooting late Wednesday afternoon, April 16, in north Fort Worth, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Batten Circle shortly after 4:30 p.m. after multiple people reported a shooting in progress at the Bexley Arcadia apartments, according to the incident report. Officers found one man who’d been shot, police said.

A second man who was involved in the shooting transported himself to a hospital. Both men are in critical condition, police said.

No arrests have been made, and police are investigating what led to the shooting.
