1 person injured in south Fort Worth shooting; suspect in custody, police say

One person was shot and seriously injured early Tuesday in south Fort Worth, and a suspect is in custody, police said.

Officers responded to the 7500 block of Samantha Drive about 1:20 a.m. April 1. They found a victim who had been shot multiple times, according to police.

The injured person was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to MedStar.

Police arrested 23-year-old Jaiden Myers, according to Fort Worth City Jail records. He faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
