No officers were injured in a shooting that occurred when they tried to serve felony arrest warrants at a Frisco residence Thursday, police said.

The shots were fired shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday, March 6, in the 5400 block of Travis Drive, according to the Frisco Police Department. Officials didn’t release further details about what led up to the incident or who fired the shots.

There is no threat to the public, according to police. The Texas Rangers will lead the investigation into the shooting.
