A man was shot and injured late Tuesday, Jan. 7, during a possible robbery, Fort Worth police said.

Officers were dispatched to John Peter Smith Hospital around 9:15 p.m. to talk to a shooting victim who’d arrived for treatment. The man didn’t give any details about the shooting, except for saying that robbery may have been a motive, according to police. He didn’t provide a description of a suspect or say where the shooting occurred.

The victim was shot twice, officials said. He was taken to JPS Hospital in a private vehicle with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been announced, and the Robbery Unit will investigate the shooting.
