1 person seriously injured in early-morning west Fort Worth shooting, police say
One person was shot and injured early Saturday in west Fort Worth, police said.
Officers responded to the 7700 block of Norman Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. Dec. 14 after someone reported that a man had been shot in the chest. They found one person with a gunshot wound, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to MedStar.
No suspects were in custody as of Saturday morning, police said. Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and Gun Violence Unit detectives have been notified.
