Three people were found dead inside a Frisco home on Friday afternoon in what police are investigating as a possible double murder and suicide, officials said.

Officers responded to the 10200 block of Bancroft Lane for a welfare check around 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 6, Frisco police said in a news release. They found a man, a woman and a teenager, who were all pronounced dead at the scene.

The three have been identified as 54-year-old Ronald Morris, 53-year-old Stacy White and 15-year-old Gavin Morris.

“Initial information indicates that there is no ongoing threat to the public,” police said in the release.

Police said the person who asked for the welfare check reported that their co-worker had not shown up for work and could not be reached by phone.

While officers were on their way to the home, a relative who had arrived at the house called 911 after finding two of the family members dead in the entryway just inside the front door. Officers searched the house and found the third person dead i the garage.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths to determine what happened.

Investigators ask anyone with information to contact the Frisco Police Department at 972-292-6010. Tips can also be submitted anonymously by texting FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411 (tip411) or by using the Frisco PD app.
