1 person critically injured in northwest Fort Worth shooting, police say

One person was critically injured in a shooting Thursday, Nov. 14, in northwest Fort Worth, officials said.

Officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Vela Lane around 11:45 p.m. regarding a shooting call. They found an adult man with three gunshot wounds, according to police.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, according to MedStar.

No suspects are in custody, police said. Gun Violence detectives were notified and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
