Man, 60, shot to death in east Fort Worth as he waited in car for food order: authorities
Patrick Morgan and another person had come late on Saturday Oct. 19 to an east Fort Worth intersection to order food.
Morgan remained in the car as his dinner was prepared at Miller Avenue and Richardson Street, authorities said.
The other person returned about 11 p.m. to the car and found that Morgan had been shot. He was dead, with multiple gunshot wounds in his upper body, Fort Worth police said.
Morgan, whose relationship with the other person police did not release, was 60 and lived in Mansfield, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
No suspects were in custody, a police spokesperson said on Monday Oct. 21.
Homicide detectives are investigating the killing.
