Two men were charged on Oct. 8 with capital murder in the killing last month of a 60-year-old man in west Fort Worth.

Gerardo Rosas was shot to death during a robbery in an apartment complex parking lot, Fort Worth police said.

Fort Worth police arrested Terry Stewart, 21, and Dei’london Stewart, 17, on Oct. 4 in the fatal shooting. It was not clear if the defendants are related.

Rosas was shot on Sept. 11 in the 600 block of Copperfield Drive as he walked in the parking lot.

Police said they found his body on the ground.

Rosas’ death was caused by a gunshot wound to the left shoulder, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Both men remain in the Tarrant County Corrections Center with their bond set at $500,000 each, records show.
